Technical Writing, Teaching, and Facilitation. Duane has written and presented continuing education courses for the AICPA, MICPA, CalCPA, and Strafford Publications. He is also an author and independent reviewer for CCH. His course and presentation topics cover a wide range of audit, accounting, and peer review topics for many organizations. Duane has been a discussion leader at AICPA Peer Review Conferences and has also taught a section of the course, Financial Statements in the Courtroom, for the National Judicial College. Two of his day-long courses for the California Society of CPAs were (Audit Planning–A Practical Approach and Non-Profits – Issues with Fraud, Risk Assessment, Internal Control, and Volunteers. Duane has also been a facilitator for Great Lakes Rotary PETS, his firm, and other organizations.
Profession. Duane Reyhl is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified global management accountant (CGMA) with the Michigan firm of Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC. In addition to his role as partner and director of consulting, he has significant responsibilities in audit, forensic accounting, and contract CFO services. He served as the technical director for the Peer Review Program of the California Society of CPAs for six years. Volunteer Activities. He is a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs Peer Review Task Force; Accounting and Auditing Standards Task Force; and chair of the Accounting and Auditing Conference Planning Task Force. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and is the treasurer and board member of the St. Charles Community Schools Board of Education.
Rotary. Duane was the 2013-14 District Governor for District 6310. He has also served on the District’s Executive, Strategic Planning, and Foundation committees. Duane has been an assistant governor and district membership committee chair. He has facilitated sessions for Great Lakes PETS for multiple years and has led membership, treasurer, and social media sessions at district conferences.
